Better There Books: Where Words Become Worship and Stories Spark Transformation

It started in Greece.

I was sitting on the bow of a catamaran, gliding over the water, listening to Voyage of the Dawn Treader (as one does when living their best literary life), when I heard the line that has always held a special place in my heart:

“This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing Me here for a little, you may know Me better there.” ~ Aslan

Better there.

It felt like a whisper — the kind that sits heavy in your spirit and gentle in your heart.

The kind you don’t just hear… you know. That was it. That was the phrase. That was the prayer.

Better There Books was born out of that moment, before I knew it would become part of a whole brand. Before Better There Travel. Before Better There Socials. It all started with the books. With this desire to tell stories that help readers get to know Jesus here, in the pages — so they can know Him better there, in their own lives.

So… What Is Better There Books?

It’s the writing corner of my world.

It’s the part of my brand where I follow God’s lead with full freedom — whether that means writing soul-stirring fiction or creating tools to help Christian creatives find peace with their platforms.

It’s where YA fantasy and Christian non-fiction can live under the same roof.

It’s where stories become altars.

It’s where Jesus is never a footnote — He’s the point.

What Better There Books Stands For

Whether I’m writing fiction or nonfiction, my prayer is always the same:

That they’ll stir something sacred in the hearts of my readers.

That they’ll reflect the kind of Jesus you want to know more of.

This is for the women who are trying to live on mission and feel like they’re fumbling.

For the teens who are wrestling with real questions and need more than polished answers.

For the readers who’ve found truth in banned books and beauty in unexpected places.

For the writers (like me) who need a reminder that our words can be worship.

Better There Books is all about hope, redemption, and seeking God’s Kingdom above all else — and having a little fun while we’re at it.
